Rima Bonario

Rima E. Bonario, MA, is a dynamic spiritual leader and gifted communications and organizational consultant who is passionate about accelerating personal, professional and planetary transformation through authentic Divine expression.

With 19 years of executive and management expertise and lifelong spiritual leadership development, Ms. Bonario joined forces in 2008 with renowned peacemaker Dr. Gary Simmons. Together they founded The Q Effect LLC to support individuals and New Thought organizations in building a world that works for all.

In 2009, they authored the workbook, The Art & Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You. Their work combines the life-changing concepts of quantum physics and universal spiritual laws into a practical, 21-day transformational process that is appealing and easily accessible to a broader audience. Their workshops are designed for spiritual seekers and leaders everywhere who want to live, lead and relate from integrity, wholeness and one’s highest expression of self. Ms. Bonario is also the co-author of the popular book Who Have You Come Here To Be: 101 Possibilities for Contemplation with Jane Simmons and Kelly Isola.

Ms. Bonario is founder and president of Your Wisdom Works LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in developing and promoting spiritual wisdom. In addition to her own creative endeavors, she assists entrepreneurs and organizations discover and communicate their most authentic expression through a wide array of marketing mateirals from beautifully designed websites to inspirational and informational movies, as well as print materials.

An expert in transformational demographics, Ms. Bonario has served the New Thought movement in a variety of capacities, including as Executive Director for Unity Church of Christianity in Houston, one of the largest Unity churches; and as a consultant for Unity Institute and the Association of Unity Churches International, where she developed the “Thriving in Unity” program and supported the launch of “The Transformation Experience.”

Ms. Bonario is an on-going student of Spiral Dynamics, Appreciative Inquiry, and emerging organizational structures such as shared leadership and Holocracy, for which she is a Certified Facilitator. For the past six years, she has served as a mentor and certified guide for the Foundation for Conscious Evolution’s Gateway program. She is also a certified coach for the Spiritual Intelligence Assessment.

Ms. Bonario is currently a doctoral student at Holos University Graduate Seminary, where she is designing a research study to quantify the shifts in consciousness created by the Art and Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You.  She earned her Master’s degree in Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University.

Ms. Bonario has published numerous articles on authentic expression and organizational development, including an essay entitled, “The Law of Wholeness: You are Magnificent,” that is featured in the book Sacred Secrets published by Unity House.

Rima, along with her husband Toby and their daughter Sophia, reside in Overland Park, Kansas and attend Unity Church of Overland Park.
